Mercer Burial Held Yesterday
The funeral of Mr. W. H. Mercer was held yesterday afternoon at the home of his son Bayard Mercer in Old Field township. Interment followed at Maplewood Cemetery with Elder George Boswell in charge. Pallbearers included Tommie Jorgan Luther Gogdinls Charlie Haynes Oscar Harrison Berry Ethridge Carl Watson. Mercer was one of Wilsons oldest citizens and had lived in the city much of his life. His wife died about a year ago and he had spent recent months with his son in Old Field township until his passing.
