Two with La Vernia ties hurt in crash
The Bexar County Sheriff's Office probes an Oct. 28 crash at Loop 1604 and FM 1346 injuring twoLa Vernia linked women. Stacy Lynn Clark 34 of San Antonio, La Vernia band director, was taken to University Hospital San Antonio after being extricated and flown by AirLife. Michelle Lynne Stout 32 of La Vernia was treated and released from Northeast Methodist Hospital. her passenger Anthony Alan Smith 31 was not transported. Investigators could not confirm intoxication claims.

Deputies arrest San Antonio cop in Wilson County case
Wilson County deputies arrest Raymond Roberts Jr. a 52 year old San Antonio Police Department officer on assault causing bodily injury to a family member. Deputy Manuel Perez responded to a Shannon Ridge disturbance and learned Roberts allegedly struck his wife. Roberts posted a 3000 dollar bond and faces 2 to 10 years in prison with up to 10000 dollars in fines if convicted.
