Wilson County sees scant rainfall amid Gulf moisture
Floresville and surrounding areas recorded light totals from the Gulf moisture and a stationary low pressure over northwestern Mexico. Wilson County officials reported 0.12 inch at Floresville City Hall and as low as 0.4 inch south of Falls City while the Stockdale area measured about 1 inch. Meteorologist Robert Blaha noted a flash flood watch earlier that day and warned rainfall could continue with the low pressure lingering in Mexico. No funnel clouds were confirmed locally.
