Herbert W. Hild Jr. known as Dinky, born August 14 1927, died October 4 2000 at age 73. He leaves sons Herbert II and Darryl Hild, daughters Denise and Kimberly, grandchildren Renee Summer Robin Stephanie Lauren Travis, and siblings and friends. He served La Vernia community as scout volunteer fireman and justice of the peace. He was laid to rest October 6 2000 at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery alongside wife Helen and daughter Deborah.
