Floresville FEDC directors weighed two property offers as demolition of the Tejas Ballroom proceeds ahead of the Frank M. Tejeda Texas State Veterans Home opening. Wesmart Inc. eyed a Floresville distribution center with 14 acres near US 181 and I-10, while Ralph Minard proposed a 44 to 80 room assisted living facility. The board awarded an $8,900 contract to demolish the Tejas Ballroom and elected officers.
