Wilson County Commissioners Court unanimously kept the ad valorem tax rate at 45.33 cents per $100 of assessed value for fiscal year 2013. The average home value was certified at $142,818, yielding an estimated average tax bill of $647.39, up about 1.3 percent from last year. The budget totals $15,883,193 with a $509,432 revenue increase from the rate, approved after public hearings with none speaking.
