John and Cora Boening mark their 70th anniversary on October 8 2000. Married at First Lutheran Church Floresville they remain active in church and live in Loma Vista where family and land shape their life. The family expresses gratitude and best wishes.
The Floresville Musical Club will meet Tuesday October 10 at 4 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall of Floresville United Methodist Church. Elmer Kosub will present the program with featured artist Ann Marie Polley Kane and her daughter Sarah Kane. Members may bring a guest and enjoy fellowship. Mary Robinson is October hostess chairman.

They plan a December 2000 wedding at Palm Valley Lutheran Church Round Rock.
