Floresville eyeing 250000 grant for water well project
Floresville hopes to secure a 250000 state grant for a third water well project costing just over 400000. Consultant Karen Kibbe said regional scoring follows a Nov 9 Alamo Area Council of Governments meeting and that the final decision may come after Jan 1.

Case ruled arson and death by own action
FLORESVILLE The death of Richard Reid 46 found Thursday in his burning Floresville area home was ruled death by own action by the Wilson County medical examiner. Autopsy cited a self inflicted gunshot wound. Firefighters from Floresville Poth and Wilson County Volunteer Ambulance Association responded to the garage fire.
