East Side street paving approved to settle 1998 lawsuit
The East Side neighborhood will see paving on Wright Eschenburg Welhausen Matlock and McDonald streets with S&W Land Clearing and Excavation to pave about 6 620 feet for 91 549 dollars. A 100 000 loan from Falls City National Bank funds half the project paid via a seven year special tax. Thunderstorms May 20 caused damage and a brief tornado east of Floresville was confirmed by the National Weather Service.
