Lillie J. Koenig of Hobson died Saturday at age 88 years 7 months. She was born in Colorado Texas, worked as a seamstress in San Antonio, later as a nurse for Falls Condependent School, and lived in the Leonia community since. A rosary was recited March 19 at St. Boniface Catholic Church. funeral March 20 at 10 a.m. at Hobson Church with Rev Gregory Sawicki officiating. interment in Hobson Cemetery. Pallbearers: Andy Meyer Valerian Foegelle Robert Jonas Gene Gawilik Jason Polasek Aubrey Bordovsk. Survived by friend Marjorie Pierce of Hobson and numerous nieces, nephews, and godchildren. preceded in death by sisters Annie Dieckow Emma Rohan and brothers Oscar Rudolph F. Koenig.

Clarence L. Gully of Karnes City dies March 22 2001 at 71. Born January 31 1930 in Karnes County to Leo Frank and Gertrude H. Tiemann Gully he married Helen Wiede in Maxwell in 1960. He retired after 40 years as material and work order clerk for Karnes Electric Co op Inc. He was a St Pauls Lutheran Church member and lifelong Karnes County resident. Funeral services were held March 24 at St Pauls Lutheran Church Karnes City with burial at Karnes City Cemetery. Survived by wife Helen Tammy Lee Michael Adeline Haak three grandsons and two nieces. Memorials to American Cancer Society or St Pauls Lutheran Church Building Fund.

He was a truck driver with visitation March 27 at Finch Funeral Chapel. Graveside service set for 10 a.m. Wednesday at Post Oak Cemetery Guadalupe County officiated by Rev. Jim Price. He is survived by wife Nell Lenz brother Ferdinand Lenz and numerous nieces and nephews.
