Poth FHA (FCCLA) members participate in Region V conference January 27 to 29 in Corpus Christi. Jenny Keller named Region V vice president of public relations and leads conference reporting and a drinking and driving workshop. Lauren Kotara elected Region V STAR vice president. Students advance to state in STAR events and Power of One units completed by several members.

The Wilson County Farm Bureau Board will grant two 500 dollar scholarships to high school seniors. Eligible applicants must be children or legal dependents of Farm Bureau members in good standing and be high school seniors planning to attend a two or four year college or vocational school.
