San Antonio Living History Association presents a March 4–6 program at Alamo Plaza with reenactments of engagements with the Mexican Army, period life demonstrations, and muskets. Monday marks the 1836 battle hour with 13 candles, a peace prayer, musket salutes, and wreaths at the Cenotaph. Admission is free. call 210-732-6055 for details.

The Three Oaks Recreation Club will meet Friday March 10 at 7 30 p.m. in the Three Oaks schoolhouse. Members are asked to bring a meat or vegetable dish or a dessert for a covered dish meal.
Trail riders from area communities will join a 16.5 mile ride in Falls City on March 25 to raise funds for CHRISTUS Santa Rosa Children's Hospital programs and equipment. Since starting 12 years ago the event has raised more than 350000 dollars for local pediatric care.
