Deregulation Costs Hit FELPS Customers With New Fees
The Floresville Electric Light and Power System trustees learned a state mandated industry restructuring charge will add about 2.48 per 1000 kWh to bills. CPS will pass 20 to 25 million annually to customers, with FELPS about 514000 yearly. Trustees approved implementing the fee on bills dated March 24 and announced a 3 million investment via Edward Jones.
