Stockdale Watermelon Jubilee draws crowds and prizes
The 33rd Stockdale Watermelon Jubilee in Stockdale June 16 to 18 featured uniform melons grown by Jesse Frasier and prize auctioning by growers including Bush Frasier Soto Faulk. Grand Champion melon bought by Slim Daniels with other buyers from Wilson County and San Antonio. A downtown parade drew attendees from South Texas. weather affected fruit judging.
