Polish Festival Pioneer Day Held at Comanche Park San Antonio
Sunday, June 24, the Polish Festival Pioneer Day will honor pioneer Polish families Dworaczyk Kosub Pollok and Pruski at Comanche Park. An outdoor Mass at 10:30 a.m. precedes a day of Polish food dancing and games sponsored by the Polish Arts and Culture Foundation Polish American Priests Association and the Seraphic Franciscan Sisters. Admission and parking are free. Summer reading club begins at Wilson County libraries with logs and read to me options. The Alamo LaBahia Tourism Task Force chaired by Robert Thonhoff advances tourism in the historic corridor. Concept Therapy of San Antonio hosts Independence Day dinner dance July 4 with Lone Star Squares, Rodney Davis, a barbecue, dancing and fireworks.
