Dave Fisk born December 9 1940 in San Antonio entered rest June 23 2000 at 59. He retired after 25 years with Southwestern Bell and earned multiple awards for safety service and sales. A music lover he taught his family to play and led fiddling groups forming the United Fiddlers and Lone Star Fiddlers Association. He was inducted into the Texas Music Hall of Fame in 1997 and honored by Gov George W Bush in 1997. He leaves wife Mary Margaret Fisk daughter Mary Beth Fisk Miller son David Fisk and grandchildren.

Visitation occurred Sunday through Monday with service Tuesday at 11 am at Mission Park South Funeral Home.
