Falls City Council approves annexation and trims trash rules
Falls City faces a July 1 effective annexation covering 32 tracts totaling about 31.3 acres in extraterritorial jurisdiction after council action. The panel amended mandatory trash collection to offer a local business owner exemption, approved a 25 cent per hour raise for municipal workers, and set plans for hearings and projects including new metal light-pole structures at the ball field.
