Buster Hinojosa Barrera of San Antonio died Tuesday January 4 2000 at age 84. He was born July 22 1915 in Floresville and retired from Kelly Air Force Base civil service. A veteran and church member, he lived in San Antonio since 1954. Funeral services were held January 7 and 8 at Floresville and Sacred Heart Church with interment at Sacred Heart Cemetery. He was survived by sisters and brothers and many nieces and nephews.

CPR Class Offered by Wilson Memorial Hospital
The Wilson Memorial Hospital and Community First Health Plans will offer a CPR class on Thursday January 20 from noon to 4 pm at Wilson Memorial Hospital. The program trains participants to assist adults infants and children in choking breathing or cardiac emergencies. The session is open to the public with limited spaces. EMT Basic Course Offered by Wilson County Volunteers
The Wilson County Volunteer Ambulance Association offers an EMT Basic class starting January 29 at the EMS station 1402 Hospital Boulevard Floresville. Classes meet Mondays and Wednesdays 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. with some weekend sessions and run through May. CPR certification is offered January 29 and current immunizations are required. The association sponsors a student who pledges one year of service and covers course expenses. For information call 830-393-3120.
