Little town with a heart organizes Christmas dinner
In Stockdale the annual Senior Citizens Christmas Dinner is run by 10 anonymous volunteers who fund and organize the event each year. The City provides the Community Building and donations cover food costs of 400 to 500 dollars plus small cash gifts for attendees. Senior residents from the Stockdale Nursing Center mingle with relatives and friends as volunteers continue to expand support.
