Elmendorf council approves Schultz Road street light
The Elmendorf City Council voted 4 to 0 to install a street light on Schultz Road to reduce accident risk on a dangerous curve between Loop 1604 and FM 327. Council discussed Ranchview entrance repairs, TxDOT flood backlog, and a paused municipal pay raise. A newsletter controversy involving Mayor Pena and council member Irma Guerra triggered criticism from residents.
