County votes against appraisal-district relocation plan
The Wilson County Commission rejected by a 4-0 vote the appraisal district’s plan to move offices to a new site near U.S. 181 behind McBee’s Bar-B-Que. The board offered one acre of land and up to 252000 dollars for a new building with a loan plan, but commissioners criticized cost and logistics amid communication concerns.
