Community Baptist Honors Pastor McDaniel at Retirement
Rev. and Mrs. Bill McDaniel were celebrated with a covered dish supper at the Howards' home as the congregation presented a silver serving dish upon his retirement. McDaniel helped establish Community Baptist Fellowship, an unsponsored Southern Baptist mission in Garberl Association, guiding the grass roots group from 27 charter members toward growth and future plans include renaming the church and establishing a home base. Interim pastor Rev. Bartlett Mills now leads as the church seeks property for a temporary meeting place and continued mission work.
