In Cubs Country LA VERNIA two Child Care employees Felicia Monk and Shanelle Brooks completed 15.2 hours of continuing education for Child Development Associate credentials during the summer at the University of Texas at San Antonio. Melba Ramzinski announced their June 8 honor at the Educational Achievement Awards in San Antonio. Cubs Country holds a four star rating on two facility assessments and aims for National Association for the Education of Young Children accreditation with 75 percent of providers holding bachelor or associate credentials and 90 percent expected by October.
