A training plane with Jack Bewitgaert 25 and Joseph Leon Taylor Jr 22 of Los Angeles crashed near Grand Central air terminal in Glendale.
Amelia Earhart, circling the globe for fun, left Otumlo airport near Massawa Eritrea at 7 30 AM bound for Assab en route to Aden and Karachi if weather permits. She arrived yesterday at 2 40 PM from Khartoum in Anglo Egyptian Sudan.

Four year old Joseph Bailey was found dead in an outhouse near his home in Stoke on Trent after a week of searching by parents and police. The door catch was unreachable for the boy, and his cries for help went unheard.
