Six people were injured in two separate Sunday morning crashes on Clinton County roads. In the Route 68 wreck near the Children’s Home, 22-year-old Robert Simpson of Wilmington suffered a broken pelvis and possible internal injuries. passenger Robert Leonard had minor injuries. A hitchhiker Virgil Krotzner from New Longton, Conn., escaped injury. Gale Garman, 20, of Sabina, drove a second car that overturned along CCC Highway injuring three others. Garman had a possible fractured leg. Ronald Hamilton, 17, of Reesville, Mamie Beaudain, 21, of Washington D. H., and Elsie Jones, 22, of Jamestown, suffered various injuries. Leslie T. Clemmer 64 died of a brain bleed at his home near Gurneyville Saturday afternoon after a brief illness. He was born near Bloomington November 25 1880s and married Rosa Howell in 1913.
