Auto Workers Walk Out In Detroit And Pontiac

In Detroit and Pontiac Michigan about 17 000 workers were sent home as Chrysler Packard and GM units shut down after sit down actions and missing union reporting. Vandals Damage Eighty Tombstones at Trinity Church Graveyard

In New York uptown at Trinity Church graveyard on 53rd Street and Broadway, eighty tombstones were overturned with about thirty broken. Police reported no immediate motive.
