Mr and Mrs A G Purcell and neighbors extinguished a house fire on Gib son road near Martinsville Friday evening. The blaze began along a hot air furnace pipe and spread to a second floor closet before it was contained. Purcell used an ax to open a wall and remove a register to flood the flames. Pipeline Right of Way Grants For 26 Inch Gas Line
