Will Not Discriminate in Selective Draft
Washington May 12 There is no ground for fear that county and city registration boards will discriminate when selecting men for the new army. War Department officials say the law is strict and allows no latitude in registration or exemptions. Every man within age limits must register and evasion penalties fall on both the registrant and any colluding board member. Registration boards will not act as exemption boards. Penalties include imprisonment for failures by officers and registrants.
