Italy's Planes Surpass All Others Says Major Perfetti
Major R Perfetti of the Italian royal flying corps told the Automotive Club of America that Italy now has 40,000 aeronautical workers, domestic aircraft speeds of 189 mph and 112 mph for sea planes, and a 900 horsepower craft carrying 3 tons. He urged the United States to build engines up to 1,000 horsepower to strengthen air supremacy for future offensives.
