Farm Loan Bank Stock Soon On Sale Under Federal Plan

Washington reports that stock subscriptions for the Maneral Farm Loan Bureau will be voted in coming days as part of the new farm loan system. Temporary directors will be chosen from across districts, with six elected and three appointed later, to operate banks and issue bonds. The plan aims to ease financing for farmers, provide long term loans, and create a government backed but farmer owned banking network. Mr. Leroy Cruser has returned to the city from Norfolk for the holidays.
