Dynamiter 13 Found Guilty in Atlanta Street Car Blast

J R Gunter, a striking motorman, was convicted by jury in superior court for dynamiting a street car on November 7 injuring Rosa and Eva Belsham and other passengers. Jury recommends mercy. sentence to be set later with five to ten year term. Twenty seven cars have been dynamited since the strike began. other defendants to be tried.

Greece tightens deposits to curb minor emigration

Athens December 6 government increases deposits for parents or guardians of minor male children leaving Greece. A youth born in 1898 must deposit 120 dollars, 1899 100 dollars, 1900 90 dollars, 1902 70 dollars, and 1908 60 dollars. Without the deposit no foreign voyage ticket can be obtained.
