Evanston Woman Curates Historic Costume Figurines
Mrs. Minna Schmidt of Evanston, a costume authority, builds a collection of hundreds of sixteen inch figurines depicting famous characters in period clothing. Her son Helmut sculpts the figures, while Mrs. Schmidt researches and outfits each costume. She speaks at the annual spring luncheon of the Elmette League of Women on May 26 at the North Shore hotel in Evanston.
