Food drive barrels aid Wilmette needy families
The Wilmette Chamber of Commerce collected 776 food articles in January via bright barrels placed in stores. Collections occur twice weekly, with 142 items on January 31 the high for the month. The Board of Local Charities distributes to 89 active families, aiding over 250 children.
