Wilmette Post 46 American Legion announces a 1 30 p m start with drum and bugle corps on the Village Green. A races and contests program runs until 4 p m followed by a Wilmette Chamber baseball versus Rogers Park Merchants return game. Prizes timed for exchange at local shops. Find Another Stolen Car on East Railroad Avenue
East Railroad avenue in Wilmette near Isabella street is a common spot for abandoned stolen cars. Two weeks ago Officer Schmidt recovered a Buick linked to Edward J. O'Donnell of Bennet avenue Ivanston. Last Saturday Sergt Steffens located another Buick at the same area, owned by H B Kirkpatrick of Schenley avenue Farm Terrace Pittsburgh Pa. The Pittsburgh car had been stolen Friday night at 2323 Park place Syvanston while Mrs Kirkpatrick visited the Barker family.
Fire Chief Zibble and Fireman Smith Attend Illinois Fire Prevention Course
