Behr's Flying Bears Shape IAC Athletic Ethos in Chicago
Johnnie Behr, Illinois Athletic Club athletic director for eighteen years, has produced the Flying Bears a flying trapeze act by five IAC youths. The act tours with circuses and fairs while Behr emphasizes play balanced with discipline training. The Behr philosophy centers on total athletic development, versatility, and lifelong exercise.
