Traffic signals eyed for Wilmette Main Street crossings
Village Trustee Arthur Lee reported a State highway survey will assess traffic counts at the Main Street Wilmette Lake and Central avenues crossings. The survey could lead to installation of traffic signals at the three intersections. Main Street carries heavier traffic after the Evanston to Glencoe through highway extension.
