Dear Brutus Faculty Play Set For Feb 16 At New Trier
The New Trier High School faculty cast will perform Dear Brutus by James Barrie on Saturday evening February 16 in the high school auditorium. Proceeds benefit the New Trier Dramatic club and faculty clubs. The production is directed by Elizabeth Stanwood and Gordon Van Kirk with a cast including Mrs Goode Miss Alice Burchard Miss Joanna Trout and Matthew Gaffney among others.

O'Connell Named Acting Postmaster in Wilmette
Herbert L. O’Connell of Linden Avenue is appointed acting postmaster for Wilmette and assumed duties February 8. A 16 year resident and former U S Navy petty officer, he served 23 months on the U S S Kansas and later held deputy sheriff posts in Cook County. He leads O’Connell Bros. builders and has long been active in the Democratic Party. Joseph E. Shantz preceded him with twelve years in the office.
