Evanston Considers Reviving Four Mile Liquor Limit
At Evanston city hall last Friday December 1 the community moved to revive the Four Mile Limit League once active in pre Prohibition days. Mayor Charles Bartlett opened the meeting and Lambert Kaspers was elected chairman. The law historically allowed the County Board to deny liquor licenses within four miles of Northwestern University and the group discussed restoring this power.
