Wilmette to lay the corner stone of its new municipal waterworks on Saturday afternoon at 3 pm from Village hall to the lakefront. Vacation ends for New Trier Township students with opening set for September 11 at New Trier High and four grammar schools Wilmette Kenilworth Winnetka and Glencoe. Meetings for department heads and faculty are scheduled September 8 9 and 9 10 with staff largely the same as last year. Registration windows open in Wilmette and Kenilworth for new pupils and book distribution occurs September 7 8 9 at the high school store.

New Trier High School announces its book store will open next Thursday through Saturday with hours from 9 to 12.
