Registrations at Wilmette beach reached about 100 000 through August 26, with peak daily attendance of 6 257 on July 27. Eight days topped 3 000 visitors, driven by new facilities in the bathhouse and higher season-ticket sales totaling 1 985 sold. Beach opens June 21 and closes with Wilmette Public Schools starting September 8.

Open Meeting Planned by Wilmette Chamber of Commerce
