An ordinance approved by the Wilmette Village board authorizes a $449 777 paving project on Elmwood Ashland Thornwood Chestnut Kenilworth and Beechwood avenues and cross streets west of Ridge road and north of Lake Avenue. Laurel School Names Kindergarten Teacher for 1930 31 Term
Miss Virginia Davis will teach kindergarten at Laurel school for the 1930 1931 term. She comes from Winchester Indiana and studied at the National College of Education in Evanston. She will replace Mrs Virginia Thompson Delana at Laurel. Wilmette public schools open September 8 with about 1650 students and a 75 member faculty.
