President Wilson announced a universal draft registration for all men aged 18 to 45 not already in military or naval service. Registration runs 7 to 9 a m with mail or local-board options for absences and illnesses. About 13 million men are expected to register with 18-year-olds placed in a separate educational group. all who are drafted will be under arms by June 30, 1919.

War Industry Board Established In Williams McKenzie Divide Counties
A local War Industry Board for Williams McKenzie and Divide counties was formed at a Tuesday meeting at N. B. Ludowense's office. T. C. Hutchinson was elected temporary chairman with N. B. Lion Seen Again West of Town
Reports from Williston say the lion previously observed west of town was sighted again on the Peterson farm eight miles west. Wrecked Train Near Williston Injures Several
A freight train wreck occurred at six o'clock this morning three miles east of Minot when a broken rail sent all coaches and the engine into a ditch except the observation car. Eight or ten people were hurt, one woman seriously injured, and a new train was assembled at Minot to pass through Williston later. Bess Campbell of Cartwright visited Williston last Friday.
