Fire broke out Saturday night in a small room of Odd Fellows hall where Stroud Bros. store space is leased. Water was scarce but John Bruegger and Harry Snell quickly arrived with extiguishers, gaining control within five minutes and saving the building. Damage estimated at 459 dollars for the hall and about 3500 for Stroud Bros. stock, insured.
