Notable Republicans Address Williston Voters In Campaign Tour

Two U S Senators and a Congressman visited Williston last week to rally local voters on state and national campaigns. Congressman Franklin E Ellsworth of Minnesota delivered a polished address in the city and spoke in Watford City before heading to Montana. Senator Porter J McCumber of the state discussed big issues from on the ground during the present administration. Senator Albert D Cummins of Iowa spoke as a progressive Republican favoring Hughes. Initial meetings were sparsely advertised and Cummins date had been canceled once. Fair audiences gathered at the court house to hear the leaders.

Will Bring More Milk Cows To Farmers Creamery

F. E. Erickson manager and J. J. Larson director of Farmers Creamery Company depart for Hutchinson Minnesota to buy at least two cars of high quality milk cows to supply farmers seeking to expand dairy herds. Banks cooperate. Also Watford City report: Joe Folven shows how a year’s flax crop paid for a newly bought 160 acre quarter with 2200 bushels sold at 2.24 a bushel, funding the land purchase.
