Oscar Peterson lost his house by fire Sunday. Timber is burning on both river banks. A dance is planned at Hoffs hall on October 10, 1902. Gust Bjorklund is digging potatoes and expects a large crop. Various Hofflund residents make short trips to Williston, White Earth, and nearby towns. Mr Hoff’s absence called on T. Nordby to act as postmaster with a lumber run ending as horses bolted home. Nordby escaped unharmed.
