Dixon Killed in Spokane Aerial Crash

Oliver Cromwell Dixon the youngest licensed aviator died at 3:50 PM after his bi plane plunged from a 100 foot height at the Interstate fair grounds Spokane He had just completed a Rocky mountain flight and shouted Here I go The crash occurred in a North Pacific cut with a gust believed to have caused the loss of control His skull was fractured and he suffered multiple injuries before succumbing to brain concussion and hemorrhage Dixon’s body was sent to New York for burial and he had no local relatives.

Boy Yeggs Rob the Nelson Store in Dark Break-In

Henry Ellis aged nineteen is jailed with three buckshot and a bullet wound and pleads third degree burglary. His sixteen year old companion Karman Keener is under sheriff custody with a guilty plea. They entered the McKay store at Nelson last Thursday evening in disguise, fought guards, and were captured after Ellis fired a rifle while fleeing. Both boys detailed prior burglaries and wanderings to States Attorney Braatelien.
