Williams county voters cast about 3,240 ballots on November 7 with Frasier leading unofficial totals for county offices. Wilson, Frasier, and Heghes scarce voted highly while party ballots show President Wilson and Governor totals near 3,000. county aid for the fair was defeated 1486 to.

McKenzie County Election Figures

McKenzie County voters produced the largest tally for McKenzie as she surpassed 2300 votes. Official totals show Williams HK 8652, Wilson 1133, Me sue ber 811, Steer Fisk 1098, Alger 6. Beale and Jeffernay notable in county offices. Randall carried the county for sheriff Metinee with strong support. J Randolph reelected county commissioner in the Bend district. Sam Stubbs of Fairview named commissioner of the 1st district.

Williams County hosts a four day agricultural convention December 12 to 15 in Williston with a robust program. President R J Hughes of Wahpeton and D R Carlson of Towner led North Dakota Press Association and Development League Bureau representatives in Grand Forks to plan North Dakota Appreciation Week. Orange and Black Clans Gathered For 1916 Football Banquet

On November 11 the 1916 high school football squad and friends gathered at the Cutting home to celebrate the season. Coach led the event, with orange and black decorations and a center football centerpiece. Miniature pigskin souvenirs hid football questions for guests to exchange. Toast Master Vettle led a four course turkey dinner and spirited discussion of football books, photos, and clippings.
