Devastating North Dakota Wildfire Devours Dozens of Homes
A wind driven fire near Kenmare sweeping thirty five miles destroyed many homesteads and buildings including Peter Olson’s farm eight to ten miles southwest. Firefighting with up to a hundred men and volunteers saved several structures though exact losses were unclear. The blaze began Monday and was suppressed by Wednesday as wind abated.
