Funeral Services for Mrs Heffernan Held at St Josephs
Funeral services were held Saturday for Mrs John Heffernan with the K of C Altar Society Civic League and a large civic turnout in attendance. Floral tributes from Knights of Columbus St Josephs Altar Society Albany Law School Gamma era fraternity Senior club teachers Board of Education Trefoil club and others decorated the service. Mass was celebrated by Father Mullen with Father ONeill delivering the sermon. Choir members included Father Kern Rugby and Father Raith Minot. Services were at St Josephs church and interment followed in Williston cemetery.

Class Luncheon Entertains Senior Class and Faculty
Miss Roe and Miss McAndrews entertained the Senior class and High School faculty with a Saturday evening luncheon at E. R. Browns home. From eight to twelve o’clock the event pleased about thirty guests. Vocal numbers by Miss Bessie R Baldwin and John A. Corbett and a reading by Miss B Ellen Toftley highlighted the program. An elegant three course luncheon was served at eleven.
Resolution of Respect for Elinor Heffernan
The Civic League adopts resolutions of sympathy for the bereaved children and relatives of Elinor Heffer nan, noting her long service since the league’s founding. A copy is to be filed and published in local papers, with copies given to the family. Local Lutheran Church reports services Sunday evening at 8:00 in the church basement and Mormon services Sunday at 11:00 led by Rev. Alb Johansen. John Steele’s farm hosts preaching next Sunday at 11:00 by Student J Charlson.

Indian Relics Find New Home at Library
Through Senator Overson the long-collected Indian relics are permanently housed in the local library. The eight by ten foot case is filled with items valuable for history and as examples of vanishing arts and crafts. The Trefoil Club donated a Boston Public Library wall painting series framed for the library, presented Wednesday by Miss Toftley on behalf of the club and accepted by the Board.

Third annual good roads picnic at Gramatka grove

House May Adopt Bill On Three Year Homestead

Maud Randal, 28, wife of Louis Randal, South Side, died Friday at Wittenberg hospital of scarlet fever after a short illness. Born Maud Williams in Indiana, she married in Dickinson in January 1907, then moved to a McKenzie County claim. She leaves two sons aged three and fourteen months. Funeral conducted by Rev.
