Charles Campbell Buried In Funeral at M E Church

Funeral services for Charles Campbell were held yesterday at 3 PM at the M E church. The Odd Fellows lodge conducted the rites with Rev Frank Hollett delivering the oration. Floral tributes included a city officials wheel emblem with a missing spoke.

Irrigation Pump Arrives For Dochterman Project

A large centrifugal irrigation pump ordered by L. B. Dochterman for his Bu ford project arrived recently. The doctor anticipates irrigation of about two hundred acres with the pump as part of a growing local readership and business pool.

Double wedding at courthouse unites Koozenny sisters

A double wedding was held at the courthouse Friday with Miss Ida Koozenny marrying Mr. Peter Horob and her sister Miss Anna Koozenny marrying Mr. Alex Skoorick. Wilson Visits Williston During West Tour

Governor Woodrow Wilson of New Jersey toured the Northwest route, stopping in Williston on Tuesday afternoon. He viewed Williams County soil products at the Commercial club Exhibit Room and spoke of irrigation and the region’s agricultural potential.

Knights of King Arthur Conclave Elect North Dakota Chancellors

Rev William Knighton Bloom of Williston leads North Dakota as chancellor after returning from Fargo where the First Annual Conclave of the Knights of King Arthur met at First Congregational Church. Miss Grace Dougherty a young school teacher was abducted dragged from a carriage and severely beaten by a tramp five miles from Plaza North Dakota. A large pursuit by sheriffs deputies and citizens is under way with fears of a lynching if the suspect is caught.

Commercial Club Makes Big Gain

The Commercial club meeting at J C O F hall in Williston drew the largest turnout yet. A band boosted enthusiasm as over 400 dollars was raised to liquidate existing obligations. The group discussed permanent quarters and selected a committee to plan a city Fourth of July celebration with Real Estate Dealers pledging cooperation.

The music pupils of Miss Holland present a recital at the James Library on Memorial Day May 30. The large class will perform an entertaining program and the event starts promptly at 8 o clock for the public.

University Club Hosts Williston Graduates Night

The University club honored fifteen Williston High School graduates and teachers with games and a short program at James Memorial Library. Mrs Baldwin sang a solo and Mrs Greer read aloud as bubting pennants and pick carnations decorated the room. Refreshments followed the event.
